I believe this is a rayon fabric that is super high quality and is like butter and silk. I found it at the dead stock fabric store and it is sooooo delicious and also washes very well and easy.

This design fits Small - XLarge  .  Please place in notes or additional comments before checking out , your height :) or desired length ( if youd like a mini dress instead ) and bust measurement so I can adjust neckline dip accordingly :)

This is the Henka Dress, a new sewing pattern to Zhinh.

A versatile and transformable design comfortably fits sizes small through large. It can be worn loose for an effortless, flowy look or tied at the back with a pinched gather for a more sculpted shape. The name Henka comes from the Japanese word for transformation, speaking to the fluid and evolving nature of this design. Inspired by Japanese silhouettes

The Henka Dress

A garment in motion made to evolve. Inspired by Japanese silhouettes shaped by the spirit of transformation. Wear it loose or gathered, soft or strong.Let it move with your body, your season and becoming.

About the Fabric: Deadstock Sourced with Intention

This piece is made using deadstock fabric, which refers to leftover rolls of fabric from larger fashion houses/designers or mills that are thoughtful enough to find proper way to discard there leftovers (the store I buy from only offers higher quality materials ) that would otherwise go unused or discarded in landfills or incinerated . Rather than letting these beautiful textiles go to waste, we give them a second life turning forgotten material into intentional, wearable art.

Because deadstock fabric is limited in quantity, each garment made from it is part of a small batch, making it all the more rare and special. Choosing deadstock means choosing sustainability, creativity, and conscious creation.
